Epoxy Floor Coating

Epoxy floor coating is a two-component resin that fuses with concrete to form a seamless, hard and easy-to-clean surface. Concrete that once dusted, absorbed oil and trapped dirt in its joints becomes a single hygienic slab that resists wear for years.

We start with measurement, not material. On site we read the moisture, tensile strength and existing damage, then choose the thickness and system to match how hard the floor is used. After grinding and repairing the surface, the primer, main coat and protective topcoat go down in turn.

How are epoxy floor coating prices determined?
Pricing depends on the area in square metres, the condition of the existing slab, the selected system type and the required thickness. Surface preparation needs such as grinding, shot blasting and crack repair directly affect the total. We provide a firm rate after a free site survey.
Can epoxy be applied over my existing concrete floor?
The concrete should be at least 28 days old, with surface tensile strength above 1.5 N/mm² and residual moisture within acceptable limits. If these conditions are met, application over the existing slab is possible. We measure and report suitability during the survey.
How long does an epoxy floor last?
With the right system selection and proper surface preparation, thin-film systems serve 5-8 years while heavy-duty and multilayer systems last 10-15 years. Traffic intensity and maintenance routine are the main factors.
Do I need to stop production during application?
Phased working allows the facility to be coated section by section. With fast-curing systems, weekends and shift breaks can be used to reduce production downtime to a minimum.
Are epoxy floors slippery?
A standard gloss finish can be slippery when wet. In wet areas, quartz or aluminium oxide aggregate is broadcast into the topcoat to reach the required slip class (R9-R12).
