A factory floor works under forklift traffic, machine vibration, spilled chemicals, thermal shock and never-ending load. Left uncoated, concrete soon dusts, cracks and turns into a source that undermines production hygiene.

Before we start we map how the plant is used — under-machine, aisle, loading and washdown zones each assessed on their own — and give every area its own system and thickness. We build a phased plan and move forward with as little production stoppage as possible.

Common Questions

Does production stop while the factory floor is coated?
A full shutdown is not required. The plant is divided into zones for phased work using fast-curing systems. Critical lines are coated at weekends or during planned maintenance stops.
What happens under machine feet?
Fixed machines stay in place and the surrounding area is coated with a clean termination detail. Where machines can be removed, full coating is applied and anchor points are reformed with epoxy mortar.
Which system suits a food plant?
Because of hot water washdown, disinfectants and organic acid contact, polyurethane or chemical-resistant epoxy systems are recommended. Concave coving at wall junctions is a mandatory detail.
